Today Zara sale finally started and I was lucky enough to finally get myself a pair of the wonderful Zara gladiator heels. I didn't want to buy them for the full price as they're quite high and I don't know how often I'm acutally going to wear them. But now I got them for a good price and I couldn't be happier.

I can't wait to see the studded Balmain-esque sandals in Store...I need them! The black dress in the black and white pictures looks stunning too and very very much like Balmain.

Tokyo Shopping: Hanjiro, Harajuku

I am going to share my favorite place to shop in Tokyo with you: Hanjiro in Harajuku.
Hanjiro isn't your regular vintage store it is a mix of recycled, reconstructed and new clothing. They also have wonderful accessories and footwear and in addition to that you get endless fashion inspiration by looking at the incredibly stylish customers shopping there. Hanjiro has stores in all major cities in Japan - each featuring unique interior design. In the two floor Harajuku store the ceiling is lined with white chandeliers and on the walls you find framed pictures of jesus and mary.
On the website you can view all the different Hanjiro stores in the 'SHOP' section. They also have a webshop where you can have a look at some of the pieces they have in store - if you manage to navigate through the Japanese only menu^o^.

I just ordered this amazing jumpsuit from Christian Lacroix for LaRedoute. It is available in marine and white, I ordered both and keep the one I like better. I've been eying this beautiful piece for a while now that it got reduced I couldn't resist any longer.

I can't stop wanting to wear these two items with every outfit I put together ever since I got back from Toyko. One being tights in bright colors - especially all shades of pink and turquoise. The other being a nice loose fitting boyfriend blazer.
I epecially love how you can add a splash of color to a monochrome look by wearing colored tights under rolles up pants. Add your favorite heels, throw on the blazer and you're done!

Prada-esque lace

I haven't been shopping for a while and so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw all the new items at the H&M Trend section. They had a lot of fall stuff in already, including these wonderful lace pieces:

It's very very much inspired by the Prada Fall 08 collection which I really loved and so I couldn't resist and bought the rose/beige tulip skirt and the black top. The funny thing is I actually saw a beige lace skirt paired with a black lace top in the Prada store display just a few days ago, so I wanted to try the look myself by pairing these two pieces. I am actually quite happy with the outcome but I don't know if I'm going to wear it like that.

I saw these at Zara today:

Wonderful Burberry Prorsum knock-offs...but not as clean and polished as the originals - these got a more rugged look which I love even more.



I didn't get them though, they were a bit pricey and way too high for me. I don't like spending a lot of money on shoes I'm only gonna wear on occasion.

I love girly dresses and these look absolutely perfect! But they're a bit expensive and I don't know weather I'd really get a lot of wear out of them. Nonetheless, the website it really worth looking at.

I just ordered this lovely silk dress on ASOS - it's perfect for new year's eve! I love the back and the bead and sequin detail.

I'm really not a big fan of GUESS, more of the opposite. But I have to admit that I am quite fond of this studded watch I just discovered:

I plan on going to Geneva to do some Christmas shopping and I think they have a Guess store there. I will definitely go to take a look at this watch. And while I'm there I will also look for the buckled boots that Ninja posted on her wonderful blog. ^o^

Today was such a cold and rainy day - to cheer myself up I got myself these lovelies:

I spotted them a while a go on nitrolicious and have been waiting for them to come out ever since. I saw a really similar boot at Urban Outfitters in Canada but it was really pricey so I decided to wait for these beauties and I'm glad I did. They're perfect <3

They also come in black and turquoise. The black one's looked great but I already got a few black booties so I passed.

^I also got this knitted cape like sweater but I'm going to return it. It's not worth the price and I don't like it that much on me - it looked much nicer on the mannequin.

AA Unisex Oversized See Thru T-Shirt
Not sure whether I should get this or not.
I'm obsessed with everything transparent and see-through at the moment but I don't know for how long I would really like this. I think I'm gonna go stop by the new AA store and try it on. I've been planning to go check out the new AA store for a while now but somehow I always forget about it when I'm downtown.

robbers & cowards

Sorry for the crappy picture. I just wanted to "show" you guys my buys of today. I got a black Zara dress that I've tried on before but somehow didn't buy then. And I finally found a perfect Alexander Wang-esque black cap:

I can't decide if I like it on me or if I look like a robber with it >.< But it was cheap and it's sooo soft <3. I think it will be the perfect finishing touch for many outfits.

I stopped by H&M today and had a quick look at the CDG stuff. It was nice but the things that were left by the time I got there (after work) didn't really interest me. I would've liked to see the pants and the constructed jackets, also the white blouses looked nice in the campaign pictures but none of that was left. Ah well.. =)

I didn't stay long at H&M...couldn't take all the hysterical ladies buying heaps of polka dotted shirts and cardigans ...I coudln't help thinking that most of them were only buing the stuff because it's from a designer. I don't think many have heard of Comme de Garçons before... It's just kinda sad that people buy the things for the name and not because they appreciate the design. In a way it also amused me...I mean how many people would be buying it if were just 'H&M' not 'H&M Comme de Garçons'? Sorry for the rant :/

fujifilm instax mini

My best buy so far is also the first purchase I made. While waiting for the plane in Narita (Tokyo airport) I came across the Fujifilm Instax Mini camera and just went ahead an bought it. The camera really wasn't expensive and from what I saw on the box the pictures were just like Polaroid ones. So even if the pictures wouldn't turn out that great it'd still provide some holiday fun I thought. But the pictures this camera takes exceeded my expectations by far, It's just as good as a polaroid and the pictures come in a cute credit card mini format. The camera as well as the film is sold at home as well so I won't have any trouble getting my hands on film. I can defenitely recommend this camera to anyone as a great alternative to a Polaroid camera. As Polaroid has stopped making film and the prices are soaring.
