Dodd has had 9 seasons in volleyball, she is established force. It is said it shows you do not have to have grown up by the seaside to be a Baech Volleyball player.
Dodd has been in the best 15 in rankings for the US tour in 8 out of 9 beach volleyball seaons.
In the year 2000 Dodd won the Hermosa Beach Open while partnering Leanne McSorley.
In 2002 she got the award of AVP Best Setter.
2005 saw her play with a three-some of seperate allies, but reaching semifinals with each.
2005's season saw her ranking 9th for digs plus tenth for aces.
A partnership in 2004 with Nancy Mason saw a 4th place for her, a highest for her in international events in the Grand Slam of Marseille.
She used to be called Carrie Busch, before marrying the brother of a famous volleyball player. As Busch she was a All-American at University of Texas. Here elder sister also played there. She got the award of MVP did Carrie when helping Texas to 2nd for the NCAA finals. She left this college with a sports administration degree.
Her fave movie is Garden State or Old School, Band Snow Patrol & Ray Charles.
